En la actualidad, los principales donantes de ayuda alimentaria mundial suministran alimentos de mala calidad a los países más afectados por desnutrición, poniendo en riesgo la vida y el futuro de 195 millones de niños en todo el mundo.
España ha sido pionera al adaptar recientemente sus políticas de ayuda alimentaria a las necesidades específicas de la primera infancia. En el año 2009, se convirtió en el primer país donante mundial de alimentos suplementarios para niños menores de cinco años. Se deben consolidar estas políticas a nivel nacional y conseguir que se produzcan los mismos cambios a nivel mundial.
Firma la petición “Hambrientos de atención” para pedir que la ayuda alimentaria mundial responda a las necesidades nutricionales de los niños pequeños.
